By far the most improvement resulted from exhaust modifications. Re: Skinny on engine mods: what works and how much Exhaust mods should always be one the first things you do to any engine. There is no point in trying to get more air fuel in when you have no way to get it out. And yes the briggs stock exhaust is very restrictive.

Re: Skinny on engine mods: what works and how much I was surprised they didn't mention the gain from the electric fuel pump. I mean they did have them back in 1994 right?
