OK, so I bought a Coperhead motor. Well the engine, has no way to charge a battery. It's all manual starting, so there is no need for a charging system. Is there anything on the market that would allow the engine while running to keep a battery charged?

It doesn't have anything to do with the engine runnin, but you could get a solar panel from Academy and mount it on top of the battery box. It will serve more as a trickle charger and keep the battery charged up when you're not runnin all your lights & stuff from it.

I thought about that also.

I always keep a small inverter generator that has a battery charger in it, it keeps the battery hot when frogging and you can cover it and your feet with a small tarp in the winter and your feet stay warm.
