Can't find any after market exhust for my kohler
I have checked several of the advetisers on the forum for after market performance exhust for my 25 kohler. All I see are stainless replacement that are just like the stock muffler. I wrote a few e mails to a few of these companies and have gotten zero responses. I am looking for twin mufflers or headers for my motor. If I can't find anything, I was considering two short cherry bombs or thrush tubes and cnc bending the pipes to mount to the jugs. Does anyone see why that wouldn't work? Will it allow to much cold air into the engine after shut down or any other issues that could happen to my motor if I go this route? Also is business so good right now, that these companies are to busy or don't need to reply to customers who want to buy product? Even an e mail that says we don't have what you want would be a plus........................... Smoke

The mufflers we carry for the Kohler will give you the flow you need. It is also a round muffler with twin outlets.

The stainless exhaust from SETX or Mudbuddy looks like stock but has a lot higher flow. Call them and they will help you out. Gecker also makes a different stainless exhaust.

There was a gecker exhaust for sale on here not too long ago. I think it sold, but you could check. I would highly recommend you not order one directly from him. He burned way to many people. There is a reason the sponsorship was revoked.
If its a horizontal engine, you can get the bps q muffler, or the evt exhaust. If its vertical, evt is the only company I know of that makes one.

Re: Can't find any after market exhust for my kohler
Not a problem, it happens all the time. I am actually thinking of building my own from a short glass pack with ss tube mandrel bent on a 45 angle towards the water. I've seen a simular exhust on a mb 45 hd, and they sounded awesome sort of like a harley, but not quite. I have not been able to find the exact mufflers I want, and not sure where else to look. Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. Smoke
