anyone have one for a 35 B&S? having sum electrical issues on my motor. fried 2 key switches in a week and now the key switch harness is melted.

I got the one gator-tail gave me when I bought my motor. I believe it has the key switch circuit if that will help you.

yes it is in da GT manual not da B&S manual if you need a copy one of us can get one to you.
Just checked der online manual it ain't der but it is in da paper one I'm lookin at it right now.

I dont have it on me at the moment but if I remember right it was in the last few pages of the manual. It was nothin fancy just a hand drawn one, but it'll get the job done, lemme know if you need it

cd don't know if will help but

blue=trim out to trim motor
green=trim out to trim motor
brown=ground
orange=power in 12vdc from bat
red=power trim input to switch
black=kill grounds coils to stop engine
gray=clutch this powers the clutch 12 vdc
yellow=start goes from key switch to solinoid on starter

This is the stock 35 MB one from their customer page. It has the full briggs 35 wiring and the color coding is pretty accurate. You can download it in PDF or print it.



Key Switch number in diagram/letters on the switch:
1 - G to ground
2 - L or S to carb solenoid
3- M to stop switch terminal on engine
4- S to solenoid tab terminal (MB runs this to the clutch switch and clutch switch to solenoid)
5- B to battery
6- A to regulator/rectifier
