long shaft is for a boat with a 20" tall transom, and the short shaft for 16" transom |

How can you tell if your motor is a short or long shaft? I have a 36 Prodrive and was wondering if it was a short or long. |

There is an extra 4" in between the transom bracket and the LU. Post a pic with a good shot of that area. |
