Is this the same carb that is used for the single carb kits? HSR series. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MIKUNI-4 ... 1870wt_862 |

Yes... You will have to get an adapter for your intake, and air filter. Also probably have to re jet and I think change out the float...Probably want to port the stock intake also. |

I'd agree with br. If you could get one for around 200 or less, it would be a good deal. What you would order from chops or evt comes ready to go. May have to adjust an enrichment screw but thats about it. If you don't get a new intake, the get up from evt is less expensive. For 415 you get the carb, extra jets, boot for intake, adapter for air filter, filter, and sock. All you would need is the adapter to accept the boot, and maybe a throttle cable. You could do the port work on the intake yourself. Its not too much more money and you would have to buy the other stuff anyway. Probably cheaper in the long run to just get the set up thats already ready to go. http://extremevtwins.com/listing-Mikuni+Carb-7.html |

If you know how to change everything to make one work, may be worth your while to watch this one... The 45 will work too, there were a few in this range. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mikuni-C ... ccessories |

They come jetted to run on a harley. Pretty sure you need to put a smaller jet/needle/seat... Don't know what they're changing on the float, may be just bending the tab. Just seen drake post a few times that if you grab one set up for a harley, a few things need to be changed... |
