So my brand new 35GTR throttle lever cracked where the cabel connects. Same prob with my old 23gtr. Great plastic design.. lol. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the throttle with something other than the stock lever? Seems like a bike/motorcycle break handle would work.. Any advice would work untill I call Gator-Tail and have them send me another one. Seems like G.T would fab a alum. handle being all the other up-grades they have inproved on! |

BPS makes a billeted AL one, its a quick install. |

BPS also makes a cast stainless, works great, tried the bicycle route, wouldn't open carb all the way. Don't know if will work with GT, never seen one in person. |

So ive been told that the bps throttle will not work with GT.... anyone can tell me diff, b4 I order it??!? |

So I called GT just now to get one shipped to me.. Can you believe its not under warranty just after 2 months and for a grand total of 18.++$ I mean its not like the whole throttle cable/assembly broke just the little trigger!! Amazing!! Im not upset about the 20$ believe me, im upset they didnt say, " Im sorry to hear that broke so soon on you, must have been a defect, we will send you one right out..." Nope not the case!! Man I love my boat. Its everything I wanted, but after the prob try'n to get my muffler sent that I had already paied for after weeeeeeek, and now this... Hmmmmmm OOoo well thats my Monday morning rant and rave!! lol |
