Let me make a long story short. I want to relocate my fuel tank up to the front of my rig. I bought all the stuff to do it. (Mr gasket 12S fuel pump, all the barbs and fittings and enough 5/16ths hose to reach) and now I am having a difficult time wrapping my mind around how to install all of it correctly. My questions are, since this is a "push" pump I guess I need to mount the pump near the fuel tank? So i need to run wires from my ignition switch all the way up front to the pump? How do I wire it in to my ignition? Does the pump need to be mounted at a certain angle? I know it needs to be mounted the correct direction to flow the right way, but can it just be mounted level? or does it need to be mounted on an angle? I think thats pretty much it for now. thanks for the help guys!

I mounted mine so its level with the fuel tank It is horiaontal on the side of my boat so the gas line runs straight trough and all the way to the motor. Also to wire it in to your iginiton I just used a tester to see which wire only turned on when I turned the key. I think it was the grey wire out the back of my Mud Buddy. The other wires always have power to them and you sont want the pump on all the time. Just splice in behind your ignition.

I don't know where others mount their fuel pump, but I have mine mounted on the transom just under the engine. My fuel tank is an 18 gal mounted all the way to the front of the boat. I have never had 1 lick of trouble with it mounted this way.

I also have a water trap fuel filter which is inline before the fuel pump wit a bulb primer as well mounted after the fuel pump.
