Post Starting ?
I just tore my motor apart to work my heads and valves. When I got done I put a voodoo exhaust on it, now when I go to start the motor the motor cranks once locks up for a sec then starts cranking. what could this be from and what do I need to do to fix it.

Of course timing key could of let go and flywheel advanced itself but if flywheel wasnt removed then its unlikely but possible , if you pull flywheel bolt you can inspect this. Also possible stock carb is wide open during starting until gov kicks in and closes blades. Manually hold blades closed and try it. Most likely its somethin simple like batt power or grounds

I adjust them one at a time by watching rockers go down then another )1/4 turn on flywheel just to make sure they are on bottom of cam lobe, if ur not sure of adjustment then i would def check them, im not sure if that is causing ur hard rollover

Valve adjustment is out. Do it like this, very easy.
