He's talking about Mr. Dwayne Roberie @ Trails Yamaha...But,he dosen't do that type of work. He only does cylinder boring. He will always recommend you give Hoyt at Gatortail a call. |

He does have a wealth of knowledge and skillz...But he told myself and a few other guy's he was retiring from doing the perf. work.(motor building,P & P) He only wants to do the boring..... |

Met's engine in Lafayette says if the Vanguard head will sit flat on his machine he can deck it for me. He's done Harley stuff before, though no decking, just cylinder boring. You think I might be taking too much of a chance with this outfit. He said it'll cost $65 per head, or $130 to deck it, maybe a little more if is not aluminum cause he'll have to make more passes. Are these vanguard engine heads aluminum or cast iron? |
