 99 brigs 20hp
just bought it, is there anything special maintnance wise i need to do ? ive allways had small mud motors.
I would ball park the hours somewhere around 300-350ish Thanks

i would just do a good tune up on it. ya know, the usual-plugs, air filter, clean carb really good, and change the oil and filter. if the motor is in good shape, you should be fine with that

my nieghbor has had it for 5 years now, just got new shaft bearings 2 hours back and new carb. Prop is year old also and still in good shape. Can u buy a k&n type filter for these things ? im not a motor mechanic what do you mean by plugs ?
