Take a look at the below thread. Scroll down to the bottom of the first page and see what the guy did to his carb. He milled out some of the material between the two barrels on his stock carb. On page 2 he says it helps keep a nice steady idle and gets rid of the flat spot he was having on hard acceleration. I may try this out once the season is over. Any reason I shouldn't?

I like to watch this site too because a lot of the guys use the 23 and mod their motors just like a lot of the folks here do, just different application.
