Ok, I know Im a dumb ass for asking this but I dont want to mess anything up and not be able to get parts during duck season. How do I remove the old plastic throttle handle without cutting it or removing all the electronics in the control box?

are you talkin about a rubber grip? if so, shoot compressed air in from the back,it will loosen right up

WHy would you have to remove the wires in the control box? just wondering, the throttle should unscrew and then put a flat head in between the 2 and pop them apart

If you are replacing it to put on the billet throttle lever then just cut it off (its plastic so a dremel or small saw will work to get good grooves in it and then just wedge a screwdriver in to break it through).

If you are replacing the throttle lever you have to remove the football (4 screws), disconnect the wires, drill the rivets on the football support, spray some hair spray (or compressed air as posted above) to get the grip off and slide the new one on.
