 weather proofing engine
well guys i got a 03 27 pd and it wont crank up when its cold. the guy i bought from said it was cold natured. i was just wondering if there was any thing i could do to help it crank up a little bit easier. not familiar with working on engines so any help would be appreciated.

is the choke working?
try some ether.
some of the aircraft engines in airboats are cold natured and a lil shot of ether will crank em..
to much can crack a piston or rod though

Might get a mechanic to look at it and make sure everything is working properly before you go turning it into a crackhead.
Carb cleaner is a bit safer than ether too.

Thanks guys im going to let my dad look at it and see what he can do was really looking foward to goin hunting this morning but wasnt going to risk being stuck out on the lake
