 GTR vibration
Trying to find out why my 35 HP GTR has so much vibration. When on long trips, my hand falls asleep from the excess vibration. I sometimes have to switch hands, which is unsafe to say the least. My hand takes several minutes to several hours to get back to normal. Is this normal or could it be a prop problem or bent shaft. My bottom exhaust bolts broke off and there are cracks on the bottom of the steel exhaust where the brackets are located. I have had torque problems in the past, but installed torque pieces on the back of the skeg along with bending the rear of the skeg. This seemed to eliminate the torque problem. Any help and advice on this matter is appreciated. Hopefully, my hand will hold up until the end of the duck season.

 Re: GTR vibration
Sounds like you have an unbalanced or loose prop.

 Re: GTR vibration
Nope. It vibrated, but not that bad. It makes it difficult to travel a long distance. Does anyone know where I can get a twist throttle installed?

 Re: GTR vibration
Till you get it figured out, try wearing a bicycling glove (padded palm) cuts alot of the vibration and will keep your hand from falling asleep. I have an Army injury in my left hand it when it acts up I use the gloves- helps alot.
