I have a 29 hp mudbuddy longtail with a 29hp kawasaki FI motor. The fuel pump went out about two years ago and I had to order a new one SB7003. it was like $400. This one just went out. Any suggestions as to an alternative fuel pump? I can't find any specs on the pressure.... to switch to a GM or different brand pump that is much cheaper.

Yeah $400 bucks, I hope you got vasoline with that. I bought a low pressure (2.4-4 psi) pump from Napa for like $45. Works like a dream on my 27 PD.

The pump he needs for that fuel injection motor and the ones we use to feed our carbs are very different. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that was the actual cost of the pump because the FI pumps on outboards are all over $1000 if they go out and even more on the Jap models.
