Have a 32hp generac prodrive that I believe is having some carb issues. It's real finicky and I'm having trouble with it flooding around 1900 rpms. Did a search and it seems like the carbs on these motors are a common problem. Seems like the weber or mikuni carbs are highly recommended, so I am probably in the market for one of those. I'm just not sure exactly what I need or where to get it? Figured I could just buy a kit made for a Generac motor but am not having much luck finding anything with google. So if anyone can help me out with what I need and where to get it that would be great.

Haven't given him a call yet, but checked out the site. Do I really need a $700 carb kit to fix the problem or is there a cheaper route? I'm content with the performance of the motor now, other than the flooding out, and finicky throttle. Just looking to get it back on the water, hopefully for less than $700.

Buy a mikuni off of ebay for around 200 and then buy a an adapter plate from evt or chops. Then the only thing you will have left to do is some adjusting of the carb and you won't be in it for more then 300.
