Post rev limiter
My rev limiter is working intermittently.......I have re wired it 3 times and have replaced it with a new one. It usually works on the trailers and sometimes on the way to the blind but not on the way back and sometimes not on the trailer. I can not find were the problem is coming from, but I know it is getting power. Anyone ever ran into this.
:?
Thanks, Cs

i had the same problem, would work one day, not the next. Bought a new one same thing. I ended up pulling the chip out and bending the prongs a little bit to make a better connection. Has been fine ever since.

If it has a chip in it, seal it with silicone. Also, mount it out of the way to avoid water intrusion and ensure its padded from vibration. If its on the transom, make sure it isn't getting water shot at it when you trailer the boat. You can extend the leads and put it in a box if you have one.
