 Re: prodrive??
The frame and LU are all the same. The 25/27hp has a different engine mounting plate do to the different bolt pattern. The PD LU has had a few up grades over the years, beefier gears and housing, better bearing placement. The most recent ones that I know of are the greased spline and prop shafts bearings seperating them from the oil bath.

 Re: prodrive??
Really not sure my boy? I want to say Late 07 or early 08. I have an early 07 and it came with the old style.
But you can tell by just looking at it, on the LU,s knuckle or gear housing where its angled ( or just ahead of where the cavitation plate starts) there be a petruding knuckle or chunk or aluminum with a dimple on each side. Plus there will be a 1/2 inch plug between the 2 grease fitting on the mid section to gain access to the grease fitting to grease the top bearing.
Hey P1 and J Not dead just in a coma! lol
