 27 hp prodrive engine removal
Hey guys, I'm removing the engine on my 27 hp prodrive, I've got the four engine to frame bolts out and all of the wires and linkages removed, however the engine will not come out of the clutch, any ideas on how to get it out ? Am I missing anything to remove the engine? This should be a fairly simple task but I've never had a prodrive before and I'm not wanting to break anything. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: 27 hp prodrive engine removal
The clutch will come off with the tiller assembly and the engine. To separate the tiller assembly from the lower unit, remove the 4 large bolts and spacers. Then there is two smaller bolts that run through the front of the clutch. Just loosen the nuts on the bottom and the motor should lift off.
