 35 Briggs compression I have a 2005 GDSD with a 35 Briggs. Should I be able to turn the prop by hand or should the motors compression make it to hard?

Re: 35 Briggs compression The compression from the motor will give you some resistance, but you should be able to turn the prop.

Re: 35 Briggs compression Ok thanks. Seems like I remember not bein able to turn it when I first got the motor and we ran it pretty hard last nite so I was worried

Re: 35 Briggs compression make sure you do not have the key in the on position when turning the prop... the motor can crank...... just a lil fyi....
