 instructions on changing heads anyone have a link to step by step instructions on changing heads? its on a 04 mudbuddy 29. tired search and came up with zero

Re: instructions on changing heads unbolt heads
remove heads and clean all old gasket material
put on new gasket and bolt up new heads
put in push rods and set valve lash
I'm sure someone could go into a lot more detail but there is really no need. Changing your heads is very simple.

Re: instructions on changing heads From what I have about 1/4" past TDC, it sounds like if you set lashing at TDC on a Van. you will actually be setting lash while the compression release is engaged.

Re: instructions on changing heads Just received my Briggs repair manual. Wish i'd have had it when I installed my cam and heads. It's excellent, very detailed step by step instructions on everything one can think of doing to the engine. $20 plus shipping. Get you one.
