Flat stop on step-off, 32hp PD
I've got decked heads, BPS cam, and gutted exhaust. My mid-range punch is great, and top end is strong. The only issue I've noticed is if I hammer the throttle from idle, the motor wants to hesitate. I can't jump on step fast without feathering the throttle a little before going to full. This happens from about 900 rpm at idle, with prop engaged, until I hit about 2,000RPM or so.
I've heard this was an inherent problem with the 32's. I'm wondering if switching to the 36 carb might help, or if it's just something I'm stuck with. Not that big of a deal, just thought there might be a fix for it.

I've got a 32 I just set up with a 36 carb, K&N Filter and Marshmellow exhaust. Still had hesitation, I posted a thread on the issue and got some helpful responses. Went with a Facet electric fuel pump, that seemed to help some. Still have the problem, but not near as bad as before.

Never ran a stock 36 carb on a 32, but most on here will agree the stock carbs have a flat spot on the bottom end. Get a mikuni and you wont look back.
