 HELP PD CHOKE CABLE

Post HELP PD CHOKE CABLE
Hi my choke keep easing forward while im driving I start to lose power look back its come out an inch I reach over push it back in off I go but should not be easing forward like that how can I fix this or what's broking

Mine is doing the same thing but I dont know how to fix it yet...... Ill let you know as soon as I find a solution!

I noticed mine is starting to do the same thing. I lose anywhere from 60 to 100 rpm's. Haven't come up with a fix yet.

I put a big ass binder clip on mine.

It didn't use to do it until I straightened out the kinks and lubed the cable. :lol:

Mine was doing the same thing, drove me nuts for a while. Finally went to the auto parts store, found a small spring, hooked it to the choke where the linkage is hooked and then hooked the other end in one of the small wholes on the back side of the air filter at the top and the problem was solved.

You should just be able to adjust the cable. There is two different clamps that hold the cable in place. Loosen them, move the cable around until it sits in the best place, and then re-tighten the clamps. That should fix it.
