Post subject:	Stern Light on motor
Seen some guys running their stern light attached on top of their motor. Anyone got pics of how you rig it up? I can't figure out how you would run the wiring

Mine runs out the side of the light post and snakes down the side of the engine til it gets mixed in with other wires headed to the battery.

I've also heard of people running the hot wire to the accessory post on the key switch and the ground to the block. Only downside is the light will always be on when the key is.

this is how I ran mine on the kawi. I just used a Bee Hive Marker Light... I have a LED one around someplace I plan on putting on my Briggs Motor now just havn't done it...

I had one on my air cleaner box when my motor was stock had issues with it sometimes vibrating the filament out

Here is what I did. In the second pic you can see where I ran the nav light wires up under the cowling to the light.
