So im fixin to pull my heads and have some work done but i still havnt decided who I am going to have do it. I have a MB and all those guys are telling me to go IM but I think it is horse shit that they will not tell me how much they are decked. Also MB told me it would take 2 weeks, and if you know anything about MB that means they have no idea when they can get it done. If im spending the 500-600 or whatever I want to know exactly what is going into them. So that is kinda a turn off. I have heard all good things about EVT and Hoyt but I am still undecided. Any positives and negatives are appreciated.

I would defer my answer to some of the more experienced motor guys, but...

If you have access to a local machine shop and you can turn a few wrenches yourself, then you can get it all done and customize it to exactly what you want done.

What all have you done to your motor so far? What are you planning on doing/want to do?

Then you can get some specific suggestions as to what to do......

EVT/IM are "bolt on" where you just pull yours off and put theirs on, and if you can do that, you can pull yours off, take them to get them done, and then put them back on.....

I would do exhaust, rework my heads/valve job, deck my heads, shim the springs, maybe change out the valves, and then put it back on and hit the water.

If you want someone to do the work, Hoyt or EVT. If you're looking for parts to do it yourself, EVT or bps.

I'd say take em to a local machine shop & have em done like Caddobrook said. Cheaper & faster.
