Post gator tail electrical help needed
I had to replace my clutch on my '04 35hp GT, in the process my wiring harness on the motor came apart from being dry rotted. Like the genius I am I pulled it apart and had no idea where the wires went. I got GT on the phone and they confirmed that I just had to match the colors, easy enough. Now I have a green wire just hanging out with no mate. the green wire comes from the front of the motor with the ignition wires, but when I look at the ignition there is no green wire, so its hidden out of site and I have no idea where it comes from or where it goes. I also looked and its not coming from the switch for the clutch or the trim.

I am hoping that someone can look at the picture below and tell me where to plug it into...I am guessing its got to be piggy backed with another wire connection.

That green wire should come from the low oil sensor. If it does, join it to the black wire immediately next to it in the pic.

cool, I'll try that this weekend and see what happens. ifs it for the low oil sensor that would make sense. The motor wont even try to turn over, I assume thats would be the low oil sensor shutting it down.

thanks guy...I'll let you know the outcome
