Post prodrive help
Recently put a mikuni on a 32hp generac and am having some issues with consistency. I followed the mikuni tuning manual and had it tuned well...idled good, with good throttle response and didn't bog down at all throughout the entire range of rpms. The next day, without touching anything I'll start it and it idles fine but will flood a good bit when you give it some gas, once you get past that it will be fine until it hits about 3000rpm and then it bogs down again. This has happened a few times where one day it will be perfect and the next it's like a completely different engine. Anyone have any suggestions on what to try?

Might have a air leak around the carb boot or where it mathces up to the intake. Start the motor and spray some WD40 around those areas if the motor revs up when you do this you have a air leak.

Checked for air leaks and everything was fine. After running it today it seems like it runs well in the afternoon when its hot but in the evening once it cools down a little bit it starts to run like shit. Is there anything that would cause this?
