Re: New cam questions You ever run a bps cam Craig? I haven't run my dad's motor with the 493 in it yet (he has, but I haven't), but my motor has a ton of bottom end with the bps cam. I haven't put buy 10 hours or so on it, but I like it so far. I was trying to get a 493 for mine too, but they didn't have one in stock and it was gonna take a week or two to get one. Just didn't have the time. So far, I'm liking the bps though.

Re: New cam questions Yeah, neither one of us turning that hard...yet. His is a short stroke motor, but I'm hoping he gets to make it out in August so I can run it and kinda compare the difference. I'm sure I'll run the bps at least through duck season, but I may try a 493 in it next year just for kicks. I have that cheetah cam too, but I think that thing is in its permanent resting place on the shelf in my office.
