Just replaced my flywheel and stator. Got it back together and t won't do anything. Noticed that the mercury switch casing was all cracked when I put it back together so i just wrapped it with e-tape for the time being. Will a bad merc switch keep it from doing anything? If so can I bypass or remove it with having to replace? Headed to orange beach tonight and sure would like to see it fire before i go. Thought the swittch question would be a starting place..... If it has two wires going to the switch, disconnect the switch and hook the two wires together. Should work. Just a simple bypass to get juice to the switch for startup. |
