I'm thinking of trying my hand at building a true mud boat. Does anyone have any knowledge or know where I can find a used marine motor to put in a flat boat? Thinking of a 150-200hp. Its all in the planning stage and will probably be for the next year. Just trying to get things lined up. |

Why you need a marine engine? A 350 with a radiator straight from a car would work. |

OK. So what I'm seeing here is that I'm in over my head about this idea. ![]() ![]() I was just wanting something to get up river fast and still get to the duck hole. AND be different |

He already had the Charles Leonard hull and trailer. He added the sponsons, center console, outdrive, and engine. He said he put $15k for the additions. Thats all he was asking. Hes willing to work on the price. |
