Well I shoulda listened to you guys and had Hoyt do it before i picked up my engine. I can't get in water Rpms above 3400 and im running 23 mph WOT. Under hunting/fishing load is 21 mph. Its a heavy 1848 mod v so i know im not helping the situation, but id like to see 25 or 26 mph at WOT. Im starting to look at Mods and Stage 1 seems like the right choice. Just wondering who in S. LA would be the best, quickest to get her done. Im sure GTR is seriously backed up, but haven't called yet. Any other recommendations would be appreciated? Also, is there a warranty issue in play if i dont go to GTR? |

Once you mod the engine you loose all warranty on the motor from briggs.. only warranty you will have is whatever engine builder you pick gives you. You will still have a frame warranty from GT. Not sure what warranty hoyt gives when he mods one |

Hoyt mods are 6 month warranty |

Are you asking who's the best in LA or who is the best period, I would honestly like to see a dyno shoot out from all the builders! I have a stage 1 GTR 35 running 32mph and some change |

I figured i would stir up a little healthy debate with the question, but am really looking for the closest to me...but everyone seems to be about 2-3 hrs away if not more. A dyno shootout would be awesome! Good Numbers Take'em, hopefully i can see high 20s....maybe if i strip her dry and drop a duece before hand i can see 30s, hahaha |
