Last week I got a BPS mikuni kit on my 36 PD. I love the carb but I'm not sure about the new addition to my boat. |

You will have to ask Andy. I did not install it. |

What are your RPM's? What chip do you have? |

I really need to go run it more before I know how much it helped. That's why I've been hesitant to post a review. I have only been able to run it once in Lake Pontchartrain unloaded. I want to go run it in the marsh with a normal load. I am running a 4350 chip. I did find a little shallow water and my tach hit 4400 for a brief second but then I had to slow down. I was a little concerned that the rev limiter wasn't working but I think it was just a blip on the tach. Thats why I need to go run it more. It really does help with acceleration and I am very happy with it. If anyone has any tips for the Mikuni, I would like to hear them. I also need to remember to take that sticker off. I might pickup 1 or 2 mph. |

Shim your valve springs and throw the 4600 chip on it, you can do this without taking the heads off if you have the right skills. |

Could be wrong but seeing that kind of RPMs with a stock motor (even with the new carb) sounds like you might need a new prop instead of a new rev box. JMO |
