Have a 32 generac that I'm having some valve lash adjustment problems with. Followed what it said in the owners manual and got the clearance correct and rotated the motor a couple times and rechecked them and they were way too loose. The piston was at tdc for adjustment and when we rechecked just like the manual suggests. Any idea what's going wrong? |

After looking at some info I think I got a little ahead of myself and didn't make sure I was on the compression stroke when I was at tdc. Gonna take a look at it tomorrow but im pretty sure that's where I went wrong. |

The compression stroke is the easiest, but you just have to have the valve fully closed to set it. |
