| Post subject: | Beavertail Surface Drive Info |
I'm running a 17' Beavertail w/ a 27hp Long Shaft and am looking at upgrading to the 35hp Surface Drive. Anyone run a similar rig? I'm trying to pick up some MPH (longer runs on bigger water where I live now). I'm wondering what speeds users are hitting and if you're happy with the motor. Thanks! |

I have a 18x54 beavertail with a 35 surface drive. I have the quiet q stainless muffler and tiger prop on it and with two people and gear im reaching about 30 mph. |
