Post subject: | Lifetime of 36hp PD |
I am looking to buy a used 36hp PD and am curious to know how many hours these motors hold strong.. I know it depends alot on the operator and how well it is maintenanced, but on average what is expected? Appreciate any help.. |

Expect thousands of hrs if properly serviced, hundreds if it wasn't. Sent from my Droid because I'm trying to be as cool as you someday. |

I would have to guess that the lifetime of a motor with min. Maintenance would be approx. 800 hours |

The motor will handle alot of abuse, a properly serviced outdrive is what I would concentrate on. |
