 LOW RPMs on 35 Briggs
I have a 35 briggs cdi (GTR). My OOW RPMS max out around 3900-3950, and surges a bit. In the water, the best I can get is 3570-3600 no matter how far I trim it up (empty boat). The valves haven't been set since duck season. Any ideas? Hopefully I can get it to Calen next week and he can straighten it out. Thanks

Re: LOW RPMs on 35 Briggs
Set the valve lash & adjust the govenor. If the problem continues, do a leak down & compression test.
