Stainless Mufflers - Blue sheild?
Anyone out there ever use Blue shield on there Stainless Muffler to keep it from bluing and turning brown? being a Harley guy I like shiny things for maximum babes appeal going down the road, that said I also know shiny things in a duck boat are not good and have a tendency to flare the birds. Since I always use a motor cover I don's see that as an issue. So I'm getting this new BPS Q muffler and I was thinking about using some I had left over on it? just wondering if anyone else has done that.
The Product is Kreem Blue shield it basically is a liquid you poor in the muffler tape off one end and roll it around to coat the inside, then it creates a ceramic coating when it dries and cures. I've used it on two of my bikes mufflers and never had issues with them bluing.
