 fuel issues
I just put a fuel water seperator on a 36pd non-cdi. Now the small filter on the engine is always full of fuel but it used to alway run with very little in there. It also takes a lot of cranking to get it to start the first time.
Any ideas of what may be going on?
thanks

 Re: fuel issues
Always full of fuel in the filter is a good thing. When pump engages it should have enough to start quickly. Make sure there are no air bubbles in the fuel filter though, these are low pressure systems and any small leak can cause problems getting fuel/starting.

 Re: fuel issues
I was mistaken in my previous post.
The primer bulb is on the tank side of the water seperator. Is this correct?
Also, we did notice bubbles coming into the filter when trying to start the engine.
