 Fuel pump wires????
I have a question for you guys. I sent my boat to godevil in baton rouge to get my engine serviced last week. Had the carb cleaned, seals replaced, the works. Boat waS not giving problems, just yearly servicing. Well when I got it back I noticed two black wires disconnected by the wire harness. Didn't remember seeing that prior, but figured it was for an accessory I didn't have. Well went out today, and when idling or going below 13 mph, boat ran great. Above that it would die unless I pumped the bulb while running. Didn't think about those wires till I got home and started changing fittings, etc and checked for fuel line issues. I have a vanguard 35, 2008. Could those two wires, which coincidentally have a male and female end on them respectively, be the wires for the fuel pump? I was wondering if the pump being disconnected could cause that engine kill under full throttle. Thanks in advance for any replies.
FYI... On the way back in we stayed at 13 mph per the gps, not pumping bulb, not quite on plane. Had three hunters in boat so weight was definately up there.

 Re: Fuel pump wires????
Wires are probably to the anti-backfire solenoid on the bottom of the carb (if installed). Some plug that hole with a bolt. If its the solenoid, it wouldn't start w/o the wires connected.
