 NEED HELP!!!
The starter on my 27 hp GDLT went and i replaced it today. I now have the new starter on but when i use the key it won't turn over. It will turn over when i use a screw driver directly on the starter but not with the key. All the grounds seem fine. WHAT COULD IT BE?? Any and all info greatly appreciated, thanks!!

 Re: NEED HELP!!!
You may have popped the fuse when you were working on it. Check that first.
You did hook up the spade connector that is coming from the key switch, right?

 Re: NEED HELP!!!
Solenoid ???
Can you hear the solenoid "firing" or closing ???
If it is not closing - it may not be re-connected properly - the positive voltage from your key is what closes it - start there and see if it gets 12volts at the smaller connection when you twist the key - it must be grounded too to work....
