back crank case plate trouble

 back crank case plate trouble
got a 35 mudd buddy the bolts that hold the belt housing to the bak of the motor backed out and 2 broke off in it after drilling and tapping them only one of the helicoils held in the block last week end the bolts where backing out again tried using lab metal and setting studs in it this time this worked on one was wondering if the sump on a 36 vertical will bolt up and match hate to spend 400 buck for a new one any help would be great guy thanks

35 and 36 sump are different. I would try this- Take the outdrive off, Make a template for the holes, and then have the wallowed holes welded up. Then you can re-drill per the template and re-tap.
