replace exhast 5 hp briggs ,straight pipe

 replace exhast 5 hp briggs ,straight pipe anyone install a straight pipe or other type on a small longtail? I have any older briggs with a flat exhaust a little bigger than a pack of smokes mounted smack dab against the block . I would like to put it out and back a little. Any suggestions? bob
