Post Batteries and Trim...
are most of you guys with trims using just one battery or does it take another one to not drain it down using the trim? Also are they all marine because I have heard of guys using big truck batteries... just looking to see what works best...

I've had the same interstate battery from wal-mart since march 08, never been on the charger once.

With my experience I have started referring to them as never-start

Continental marine batteries are great! Had the same battery in my previous 3 rigs. That's been 6 years ago now since I bought it. Never had it on the charger. Sold it with my last boat a few months ago and as far as I know it's still going.

One battery, trim and reverse and never drained it and no need to hook it to a charger.

I'm still using the Org Trojan marine battery that came with my 1st mud rig from the dealer back in 05...lol.... I keep checking it to make sure its still good and everything always checks out okay... I tend to run my boat almost everyweekend so it never just sits for a long time...
