 changing a 27gd to a 35?
I currently have a 2009 27 GDSD on my boat. However I have a 2008 GDLT sitting in my shed. Wondering how tough it would be to swap engines and make that surface drive a 35? Any insight or comments would be helpful.

I would think you should be able to swap them. You could call Go Devil and ask if any parts would be needed.

Definitely need to call them to get the best answers...
You will need your frame SN on both units when you call so they can identify your unit's features properly...
But - the outdrive is 90% the same on the 27 and 35 GDSD - just a different set of pulleys to get the desired taller gearing which gives the 35 more speed...
