Gt 23 no loaded power!!!!

 Gt 23 no loaded power!!!!I have a gt23 on a 1648 rivited Jon boat and with me 6 gallons of gas and battery I'm getting like 17-18 mph on gps but when I put one guy 200 lbs and probably another 100 lbs of gear the boat only does 4-7 mph that doesn't sound right to me could it be a prop issue the prop still measures 10 3/4 inches but I have no way to tell if the cup is worn down if anyone has any advice or experience with this kinda set up please let me know

Measure your prop from tip to tip your good if your around 115/8 to 12inches or more, problem may be else where. sounds like prop cause if your only running 17-18 with just you thats a little low should be in the low 20's. Maybe someone else can chime in! What are your Out Of Water(OOW) Rpm's and what are your In water Rpms while your driving?

Re: Gt 23 no loaded power!!!! I have a 23 GTR on a 1748 dry weight 450# 20 inch trams. 6 gallon gas tank up front trolling motor batt. In back. Prop 11 3/8. By myself. 22 mph. Son 130#. Daughter 75#. Trolling motor 40#.and myself 19 mph. On gps. All stock . Hope this helps.
