My buddy found a motor that he is looking at buying and was wondering if a 25 hp GD LT with a kohler motor has an alternator on it. The motor is like a 2003 or a 2004. Any help is appreciated guys, Thanks.

pretty sure they do but best to call either Kohler or look the model number on their website to get the correct info.

yes they do have one you can look at the www.godevil.com site and it tells you everything.

they don't call it an alternator - but it does the same thing

about 15 amps charging at 3000 rpm - less at lower rpm
or if battery fully charged

previous owner of my kohler installed a round amp gauge
in the front of the motor - kinda helps monitor battery status
pretty good add-on
