 Cowling holds water
My 24 Honda will let water into the cowling if it is tilted forward into the boat when it rains. I was worried about it freezing and making a mess one morning if I crank it like that so I drilled some holes in the bottom of it so it can drain.
Do the Briggs have this problem or has anybody forked sumthin up like that? Just curious.

 Re: Cowling holds water
the briggs does the same... and yes you can fork stuff up if your area freezes... drilling some holes and using a motor cover will fix this...

 Re: Cowling holds water
Noticed the same thing just yesterday on my 35 B&S. Been hunting the salt and hitting the car wash. Thanks for the tip. Duckdon
