My buddy found a motor that he is looking at buying and was wondering if a 25 hp GD LT with a kohler motor has an alternator on it. The motor is like a 2003 or a 2004. Any help is appreciated guys, Thanks. -Brian |

pretty sure they do but best to call either Kohler or look the model number on their website to get the correct info. |

yes they do have one you can look at the www.godevil.com site and it tells you everything. |

they don't call it an alternator - but it does the same thing about 15 amps charging at 3000 rpm - less at lower rpm or if battery fully charged previous owner of my kohler installed a round amp gauge in the front of the motor - kinda helps monitor battery status pretty good add-on |
