Have to give a big thanks to Calen. I called him the Thursday before the split season told him about how my crankcase gasket was leaking and that I would be making a hunt in the wax the suday of closing weekend and that I'd like to drop it off on Sunday so I wouldn't have to make a trip back and also that I needed it for the following weekend . He said that was fine. Met him suday after my hunt and while i was dropping my boat off I decided to throw the cam in there while he had it apart. Thursday my boat was ready. I got off work late and Calen still came meet me at his shop at 8 that night to pick up my boat. Now that's good customer service if I do say so myself. I reccomend him to anyone needing service work or looking to get performance work done.

X2 on customer service. During the first split running back from the delta, my brake caliper locked up. I took it to him straight from the launch, so he could get a look at it. During his examination he noticed that the crank case cover was cracked also. I am limited to my hunting days becasue of work and Calen had the Boat ready the Next day. Couldn't ask for better service anywhere. He got all that done and killed a limit of ducks that morning, LOL. I am looking forward to him doing my stage 1 after the season.

He put hoyts cam in it. I gained about 2.5 mph and a noticeable increase in power. I was running 29.5 average with 2 guys, 4 dozen dekes, 9 gallons of gas, a full ice chest and normal huntin stuff before cam. And I ran 32 mph this weekend with same load, but now im turning 4220-4260 Rpms and bumping the rev limiter once in a while. And before the cam 5 guys, 9 gallons of gas, and a full ice chest i got 25 mph and I got 27 mph after cam and even bumped 28 a couple times.

I was wondering if the mikuni along with a stage 1 would be to much. How easily do you get to the rev limiter. I like the speeds, hope I can get that out of my 1854 CC. I hunt the ADWMA, delta side, hunted the wax for a while. And I carry large loads down to the camp. I am like a push barge in the ICW till I hit some shallows and pick up my speed. Calen told me that the stage 1 will cure that.

I haven't been able to hit shallows yet to see how quick it'll hit the rev limiter... That'll be the real test... But in deep water with Juss two guys i keep it at 4250. If I trim up a Lil more it'll hit the rev limiter... I'm sure I might be able to pick up a Lil more speed if I were able to trim up a Lil more.. Might just end up having to get some high rev coils.

Nice, that is great to hear a dealer taken care of his customers in a timely fashion. If you want to install high rev coils give me a call, ill give you a hand.
